I can't even count how many times I watched Willy Wonka and Young Frankenstein in my life. He may be gone, but he will always remain an absolutely phenomenal actor.

Today we all lose.
 
Lemmy, David Bowie, Alan Rickman, Prince and now Mr.Wilder. 2016 you can go officially fuck yourself.


Well Mr.Wilder i will miss you as and remember you either as Wonka, A mad scientist, a drunken cowboy or as a deaf man with Richard Pryor. Love ya my favorite crazy man.
 
Whether he was teamed up with Zero Mostel, Cleavon Little or Marty Feldman, he was always damned funny when he and Mel Brooks got together.

And it bears repeating... No matter what, he was the Willy Wonka. Nobody else has come close. (Johnny Depp missed by a country mile.)

So shined a good talent in a weary world...
 
Aw man.

Guess it's time to rewatch Blazing Saddles, The Producers or one of the many more movies that he starred in and reminiscent about all the fun and joy this amazing actor has brought into our lives.

Gene, you will be missed but never forgotten.
 
He was such a talented actor! As tragic as this is, at least he'll live on through his work.
 
Well this has been a depressing year. He was one of my favorite actors too. No one can play a 'mad' character quite like him.
 
I'm watching The Producers right now.

Nobody could shout "Fat!" like he could. Truly, nobody.
