Look, I don’t have much more time on this planet, and I want to see trump indicted before I die. I’m 39 years old. Don’t get me wrong. I like being 39. I’ve been 39 for the last 30 years. And I don’t have much longer to wait to see if this asshole is indicted before I die. I have dyed many times before, but not as much as Rudy Giuliani.

My friend said that the DOJ is moving very quickly to bring charges against the former fuck. Of course, my friend is a geologist. He wears a Fossil watch which calculates time at glacial speed. I’m not as patient and I want to see Trumplethinskin indicted sooner rather than later. Even as I type this silly diary, the Orange Menace is plotting his next coup de tot. And we all know that he’s doing this in broad daylight. And he’s getting help from his friends who are systematically gerrymandering their asses off to ensure Republican control of most State legislatures and Congressional seats.

Trump and his sycophants are subverting the very process that brought them to power. Every day, they are working furiously to dismantle democracy quickly, just like Hitler did in the 1930’s. And “this is how elected autocrats subvert democracy—packing and “weaponizing” the courts and other neutral agencies, buying off the media and the private sector (or bullying them into silence), and rewriting the rules of politics to tilt the playing field against opponents. The tragic paradox of the electoral route to authoritarianism is that democracy’s assassins use the very institutions of democracy—gradually, subtly, and even legally—to kill it” (Steven Levitsky)

And even if we stop him now, the damage has already been done. Even if this asshole dies today, trump will leave the stench of trumpism. He has fueled white grievance in America by creating fissures based on racial and religious differences. We now have almost 50% of the country that is completely brainwashed and delusional, which is the perfect breeding ground for autocracy. Trump is a demagogue, and like every demagogue before him, he follows the four simple rules as perfectly outlined in this short video:

We must not let this happen again! This asshole must be indicted ASAP. Our democracy is at stake. Our very lives are at stake. This is not hyperbole. Just ask any woman in Texas who wants to have an abortion after being raped by a rapist.

But Frank, what can we charge him with? Well, for a start, how about crimes against humanity? His sheer recklessness and intentional acts in allowing the spread of Covid which resulted in over 700,000 needless deaths would be a good start. How about sedition? How about treason? How about inciting a violent insurrection in which five people died and millions of dollars in property damage? How about tax fraud? How about campaign finance violations? How about voter and election fraud? “Just find me 11,780 votes!” In Georgia alone, I can see criminal solicitation to commit election fraud; intentional interference with performance of election duties; conspiracy to commit election fraud; criminal solicitation; and state RICO violations. Mind you, I’m not a lawyer, but I play one on Daily Kos. Anyway, I can name at least 100 other crimes that this asshole has committed, but you all know what they are, and I hope that you post them in the comments following this rant of a diary.

I believe that the window is rapidly closing on our democracy unless we ack quickly. Time is of the essence. I see two windows closing rapidly: 2020. That is when the January 6th Commission will be dissolved if the Republicans regain control of the House, which many experts believe will happen. I can envision an asshole like Gym Jordan becoming the Speaker of the House and impeachment proceedings will be brought against Joe Biden post-haste. And the DOJ will no longer get referrals from the House to subpoena and indict trump and his cronies. The other window is 2024. If trump becomes president again, which is certainly a possibility, then it’s all over. We will have lost everything. Everything.

And it seems to me that the only way to stop this from happening is to indict this motherfucker ASAP. At this point, I’ll even settle for a parking ticket. I’ll settle for anything. But please, Merrick Garland, do something! Don’t get me wrong. I like Merrick Garland. He’s a good man. He’s a decent man. He’s an honorable man. But that doesn’t mean he’s the right man or woman for the job at this critical juncture in our history. I’d prefer a Katie Porter, an Adam Schiff, or a Glenn Kirschner.

I often ask myself, “What if trump had won the election and Biden refused to concede and incites a violent overthrow of our government?” What would trump and his DOJ do? I don’t believe in “turnstile justice.” I’m not saying that’s what we should do, but I’m sure that they would do something and do it rather quickly. If trump was willing to hang Mike Pence, can you imagine what he would do to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris? We are like Boy Scouts trying to tell the Devil to be nice. I think it’s time to stop playing nice. It’s time to put a full court pressure on trump and his acolytes and bring them to justice quickly. And can they please do it before I die?

Will they indict him before you die?

People should stop treating the Internet like their personal diary. Shit's embarrassing, especially when you've got lines like:
I like being 39. I’ve been 39 for the last 30 years.
Nigga what?

Man, just imagine the spastic fit this guy will have if Trump gets elected again in 2024.

I think its like that joke women sometimes say "Oh I am 29 tomorrow, for about the 14th time now" to avoid being 30.

So if they are 39 for 30 years, they are 69 years old I am guessing?

Short answer: no
Long answer: I am in your house prepare to meet your maker

Unlikely. And people don't realize that witch hunts that show how he makes the establishment tremble in fear just make him more popular. If they really wanted him gone they'd stop talking about him.

If they really wanted to imprison him, they would have already done it. FBI could literally just seize him under the PATRIOT act under the defense that the capital riot was him orchestrating terrorism.

Damn, that has to be the most psychotically worded article I've seen this entire year. I still don't understand the introductory paragraph, and I've read it five times.

I always know when it's a Daily Kos piece just by the title. The sheer butthurt is delicious.

The answer is “No”. In fact, we’re 13 years after W left office and instead of him being indicted for war crimes like so many wanted, he’s now Michelle O’s best friend and a “voice of reason” lauded by the same pundits who called for his crucifixion back then. It’s not going to happen

It only took me one time reading through it, and yeah, bitches be crazy.

How many times in a paragraph should you write in "die," or any variation of it, before it goes from normal to edgy, to full-blown psycho?

Honestly indicting Trump would be the best thing for the republicans going into 2024

Trump is out of the race and so doesn't turn off demographics like suburban white women or rile up the democratic base to oppose him, Trump's base gets riled up behind DeSantis or whoever runs and the GOP get a landslide

the republican's biggest problem atm is how to replace Trump without turning his base against the party, if the dems make it so he literally cannot run, that's literally the biggest favour they could ever give republicans, which is why the experienced dems don't wanna touch it
god I hope the new progressive dems force their hand

This article was just part cope and part group therapy session for a journo.
