Will Elder Scrolls 6 be complete dogshit? - Will it instead be an awesome and great and epic and fun game that blows Morrowind out of the water? The ultimate fantasy experience?

It probably won't be out until like 2028, that gives Todd Howard plenty of time to fuck it up, or make it awesome. He directed Morrowind, and he also directed Redguard.

Will it be Good Todd or Evil Todd who prevails on release day?

Anyone who is optimistic for TES6 is dreaming.

Skyrim was already shallow and watered down. FO4 was the worst RPG in its franchise, with the worst characters and story, even before FO76 came out. Starfield was supposed to be Bethesda's new golden child, and it was so bland and forgettable that everyone forgot about it within the space of two months.

What proof is there that Bethesda's future games will be any different?

TES6's standing is so shaky it's still an "if" and not "when". I fully expect them to outright cancel the development. Go down the remaster route instead, Bethshit. x64 versions of Morrowind and Oblivion running in 1080p144 and with high poly models and 4k textures would sell like hotcakes.

I'm optimistic. Hope we don't forced pronouns in the game.
That's a guarantee and so is "body type". The only question is how prominent the faggotry and niggerdry will be in the game. Bonus if all the women are ugly and the dialogue is full of cringe virtue signalling.

It will be goyslop. It will be easy and satisfying to consume but you'll walk away from the experience no richer, like McDonald's or Taco Bell. They already perfected this with Skyrim. They know what the general populace wants and what it wants is immediate gratification and constant stimuli, so that's what you're getting. Hypnogogic gameplay, environment designs straight from Universal Studios and a guided tour of a main quest that railroads you into five non-exclusive guilds that all position the player as The Chosen One Fated to Fulfill The Prophecy and Save The Guild. Skyrim 2.

The map wont be any larger. Starfield still has the same map limits as Skyrim, and Skyrim was pushing it to its limits.
Skyrim is actually smaller than Cyrodil. One (1) thing they've stayed good about is that the worldspaces have been proportional since Morrowind; they're exactly the size they're supposed to be according to the map. So unless they fuck that up it'll be about the same size, but it's not a technical constraint; if anything I think they know they struggle to fill an environment Skyrim's size with interesting content, so going bigger would be a death sentence.

Actually Morrowind is at a larger scale vs Oblivion and Skyrim, since its only Vvardenfell yet it covers the same area as Skyrim pretty much

Also funny how Morrowind doesn't have the map size limits that the later games have

I’m hoping they don’t bring in the level build system from 4 it’s obvious most systems can’t handle it.

As long as Bethesda keeps Emil Pagafuckface (the lead for fallout 3, fallout 4, and starfield.) in his current position, no, I have no faith whatsoever.

Emil is... Not a good writer. He needs to have someone looking over his shoulder to tell him "No Emil, you cannot put the actual Santa Claus in Morrowind as a literal cocaine dealer" and edit his retarded ideas into something more workable and lore friendly (Literal cocaine Santa becomes uncle sweetshare, for example) or "No Emil, you cannot completely disregard the lore because 'its funny' or you don't care because the old lore disagrees with the dumb story you want to tell" (The ghoul kid in the refrigerator and jet being a pre-war drug) and that used to be something Todd Howard used to do.

Todd, for all his faults, has always had an open door policy that has been traditionally used to make Emil stop being a fucking retard, but with Bethesda now being spread across multiple states, that isn't feasible anymore. The guy in California who is being told by Emil to do something retarded can't walk into Todd's office in Texas (or wherever it is located) to complain about it, and so you end up with Starfield being written without a cohesive design document.

But the problem is that Emil... is unlikely to get fired or demoted. Despite being a fucking moron the games he has been head honcho for have sold really well, despite being bad / heavily criticized. Objectively speaking he's an idiot but to corporate, green line go up, so he stays and gets promoted again.
