You know, this reminds me of something that happened on the Wiggles wiki.

So TL;DR: An sped managed to pester an admin into editing for him and the guy goes through with out of friendship. httpAnd despite RRabbit42, an career admin across several wikis, blocking him to end the problem. The dumbass admin keeps unblocking him, and letting the problem continue when his fingers are actually hurting behind their stupidity.

So here's some choice experts, since this saga is massive, and the fool lost his admin rights over this.

Adblock is a gift from the gods. Unfortunately there's still malvertising, and I have been redirected to malicious websites because of the ads. Sucks! Thankfully it didn't cause any harm to my computer but be cautious when browsing these sites.

Fun fact, most of them are going to look even shittier than on Wikia, mostly because the mass majority of the people running them know fuck all about how to actually do anything aside from basic uploading and page editing, and even though Miraheze allows even more admin control over how features work, so expect busted templates, horrible layouts, and stunning incompetence because most of the people doing the transplants won't have Wikia to hold their hands anymore doing the tech shit.

For example:

Animated Foot Scene Wiki

animatedfeet.miraheze.org animatedfeet.miraheze.org

Apparently, these morons are moving pages BY HAND (and doing it via one big XML dump would be a much saner idea for copyright and technical reasons), and apparently are too fucking lazy to find a simple download script to core dump all the images from the wiki so it can be transplanted to the new one (which, again, is not that hard to do, I know of a few that would work great for this).

Which explains the pitfalls these guys are facing. Note how they say that their content was unfairly branded as NSFW when one of their admins posted a gif of a woman's jiggling tits from a hentai OVA.
