What about this Abomination? To note his Birthdate is still at "September 11th 2001" After he started Cleaning up a giant Raid attack.

What happens when you reject an admin request on the SpongeBob Fanon Wiki:

This still only earned a month-long block.

That Wikia got Shut Down just recently

What the fuck is with the random capitalization? You crazy Libyan, we only capitalize first words of sentences, and proper nouns like names and titles and stuff.

So, in your last post for example, you capitalized the F in from at the beginning of your sentence. Good job!
But then you failed to capitalize I, which come to think of it doesn't fall under a proper noun but we capitalize it anyway. OK fair enough the rules aren't very clear there.
After that it goes off the rails I'm afraid.
Fucking Children should be fucking children (adjective not verb I'm no pedo)
Staff Applications for Mod should be staff applications for mod.
people who Like a certain character should be people who like a certain character.

Still, if you are a Libyan, nice English. If English is your native tongue... well try a little harder next time.

Interesting.

Wikia seems to be tolerating a lot less shit from the dumbass children in general.

They have recently been banning a ton of of idiots not even old enough to shave or still act less than half their age because they can't do anything other than harass staff with asinine demands, so Staff have been global blocking them left and right and purging a ton of wikis infested with those assholes.

From where I'm sitting, good, fuck'em, they are cancer on Wikia.

A bit late, if you ask me, but Wikia is learning the same lesson TV Tropes did: lower the bar too much for too often, and you will have to brutally crack down later to get the worst members to fuck off and leave.

Wikia is pretty cancerish itself. It is packed with shitty Curse ads, animated crap you can't block or get rid of easily, and all kinds of browser breaking bullshit.

That crap is there to stay, but some ad blockers later and 99.99% vanishes.

However, what they have been working on removing that has gotten a ton of people up in arms is the "Wikia" label in their URLs, planning to move them to a FANDOM url, and in the process, enforcing strictly what "FANDOM" means, meaning they've cracked down on tons of wikis set up by trolls, wikis for being hateful shits, and wikis where the overall intent is to be negative in general.

Most of their ad money comes from ads for promoting fandoms, so I can see the pragmatic and financial reasons for doing so, and while it's gotten a ton of now displaced wikis and their users pissed the fuck off, it's probably a long term good thing for those reasons.

They been accused of going SJW, but I've seen them crack down lots of hateful shit in general on both sides of the aisle, not to mention burning wikis to the ground filled with people dissing the service they take for granted, so it's more like Wikia wants to get rid of ungrateful, hateful assholes in general.

Oh they have LONG gone SJW. Read some of their articles sometimes. Its...enlightening. Oh, and, I don't believe I've told you this, but love All The Tropes. Great site. Its clean design makes Wikia (oh excuse me, FANDOM) look like a joke. Hope more wikis migrate out of there.

I don't doubt they've gone woke to some extent, but they really have evicted a lot of chaff with the wheat, and some of the chaff really deserved it IMO.

Mobile Wikia is fucking terrible

The rebranding is so fitting. The autistic attention to detail present on pages dedicated to children's cartoons and video games is perfectly reflected in the term "FANDOM." Normal people can be fans of something, but only the worst people alive are a part of a "fandom."

Does anyone consistently get redirected to scam "congratulations, you won a free iphone!" pages whenever they use wikia on mobile but not on any other site or is it just me?

Late, but I remember this one Wiki for this obscure little Pokémon Project on ROBLOX called Brick Bronze Wikia. It's a pretty nice wiki, but there was a shit ton of weird users on there. Mainly this girl named QueenCupcakes or something like that. Basically, she was way too young to even be on Wikia, and it was really shown through her English and behavior. She would always come and harass various people in their DMs, mainly this guy named Hayds who was actually pretty cool. She eventually got her account deleted due to her age and behavior, but she came back with another account. After the Brick Bronze project shut down, she moved to various other wikis. This including a wiki made for fun that was made by one of the moderators on Brick Bronze Wikia, named Wooper Wiki. (Named after the Pokémon, Wooper, which was the mod's favorite Pokémon.) There, she did even weirder shit, such as post awful fetish art of various characters. (Springtrap from FNaF, SpongeBob, Shadow the Hedgehog, and Mewtwo.) She also posted weird lesbian comics she found on Tumblr that included Lily from Pokémon Sun and Moon. (Mind you, she's canonically 12 as of Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon and openly straight. Even if Queen is a kid, that's still creepy.) Queen also claimed that she was in this poly marriage with Mewtwo and the previously mentioned Lily. After I left Wikia, I haven't really seen whatever happened to her. Though I have talked to Hayds and the mod that created Wooper Wiki, and they say that she's been acting the same.

Sorry for the giant wall of text, but I just wanted to share my knowledge of this person, and on something that would fit into the topic.
