Yeah most people understand that. The underlying issue is that things are being changed drastically to where it’s it’s getting kind of scary. Stickers are one thing but if a user is banned for a reason unknown to us yes people are going to be a little frightened.

Also there’s the argument of other users who probably deserved it more than the people who just got banned.

"I believe" is a figure of speech. When I explicitly state a user was banned for using sockpuppets and detail why sockpuppets are not allowed, I see I incorrectly assumed it should be obvious that I know sockpuppets are a bannable offense. There aren't many forums or websites which allow sockpuppets to begin with. The forum discussion board outlines not to sockpuppet explicitly, but you may see this board specifically made to discuss the decorum necessary to use the website as not obvious.

If you feel this is being handled inconsistently across other users, then make a thread in the Talk To Staff subforum. I'm not the one who handles banning sockpuppets, I'm only explaining why the ban happened. If there needs to be an explicit explanation of rules for users shoved into their face, then you might enact a change to make it so by pointing it out to the admin.

I agree that it should be obvious that sockpuppet accounts are an automatically bannable offense, which is the reason I'm asking for clarification, because it seems to have come as a shock to many of the users here. I now see that the Forum Discussion board has that rule stated, but I was under the impression that those rules are board-specific. I wouldn't have thought to look there before you pointed it out.

I don't feel that it's being handled inconsistently, but it's clear to me many users do in fact need the rules shoved in front of their face.

I thought KF was supposed to be the last bastion of free speech on the clearnet, not Null's personal sandbox to pick and choose who plays and who doesn't. (Sarcasm because some of you true and honest autistics can't read the vibes)
