Why is the Minecraft YouTube scene so vindictive?

Yes, I know it's a game that attracts artists but why is it that it's always the Minecraft youtubers being cannibalized by their community?

I think it's because Minecraft is played by children and teens, so if you do anything at all wrong or cringe you're no longer allowed in the cool kids club ever. Anytime there's any drama it doesn't even take any real substance to convince a kid, they have no problem reaching a simple conclusion of "youtuber X bad now, youtuber Y said so so youtuber Y good".

I can understand an adult sitting down for an hour or two to unwind with a video game after work maybe once or twice a week but if you are an adult man and your entire life revolves around playing video games made for little kids, you are a fucking loser. Even if you are one of the lucky losers who manages to get thousands of views and dollars from other losers just like yourself.

that's a big problem nowadays too. Lots of people never grow the fuck up and so you are left with a bunch of poorly developed men who live their lives like a child would and have zero adult social skills. it's pathetic.
