im going to have to say that he acts a lot meaner than he probably is irl because if you give a userbase an inch the very worst of them will take it a mile, any sort of compromising attitude is seen as weakness by sociopathic faggots and if some of these people itching for him to step aside get their way it could be worse than anything imaginable
not to mention he's been the subject of every sort of attempt at emotional manipulation from internet nutjobs for over a decade, glowops from the intelligence services of multiple countries, and dozens of bloodsworn enemies, if that doesn't make you jaded and exasperated with a bunch of disjointed communities congregating over at autistic TMZ then nothing will
this is all before you think about the stuff that everybody has to deal with in their own lives, i don't agree with everything he does (really doubt anyone does), but i don't think i could do better in his position, it's hard to imagine someone else who could, and getting in an armchair and judging him and speculating on every little thing feels masturbatory and parasocial after a certain point
