You know how retarded GIMP's handling of this is?>needing to press an extra button to zoom
Really getting your money's worth there.
Have you tried krita?
I'll give it a look. The screenshots sorta remind me of Paint Tool SAI, any relation?Am I the only person on earth who knows about Krita?
If you're a grown ass adult that needs a image editing program you're probably a big fag.
Calm yourselves, niggers. I'll use whatever non-GIMP image editor works best for me.Just use Krita faggot, its free and whatever you lack you just add with an addon for free also
Never. Explain why you need it in the first place. If you're making memes or "art" I will commit a hate crime on your ass.Calm yourselves, niggers. I'll use whatever non-GIMP image editor works best for me.
@Angel of Death's avatar, among other things.Never. Explain why you need it in the first place. If you're making memes or "art" I will commit a hate crime on your ass.
Okay maybe I'm being a bit harsh. I'm still a bit riled up but after punching a few holes in my my walls but I think maybe you can try pixlr. It's a web based editor so you can be jewish even about your disk space not having to even install anything.@Angel of Death's avatar, among other things.
I edit my bitmaps by hand, one bit at a time.If you're a grown ass adult that needs a image editing program you're probably a big fag.

You can press - to zoom out, but you need to push SHIFT + to zoom in.
Yes I know that = and not-numpad + share a key. They could have easily just made = make it zoom in, and it would have been exactly what you claim.
CTRL - and CTRL + are pretty standard keyboard commands that work in a variety of programs going back to the 90s. When things work by convention, you save time and effort and therefore US Dollars and/or gold.
I can also hold CTRL and the middle button on my TrackPoint to zoom. I use both methods.>using keybinds to zoom
>not mapping the modifier keys to your MMO mouse and using them with the scroll wheel to zoom/pan in every piece of software ever
Why are you even talking about workflow optimization grievances? You know nothing. You're like a little baby. All this time wasted complaining when you haven't even given thought to the most basic of things. What's even the point of running linux if you're not willing to think for even a second about how to solve your problems, how to improve your efficiency? Pathetic.
yeah, GIMP works fine for me and my meme edits, as evidence by anyone who has seen the stuff i post, but man is the ui crap. it isnt the worst free software UI ive ever seen, but it certainly takes time to figure it out and get used to using it. gimp needs a huge overhaul of the UI, but if you did that the autist who use it would scream and stomp their feet over it.it suffers from what I like to call "Autistic UI" where the autists who made the product didn't know how to design a UI, and just shoved it all together and said it works..Who cares if it's two buttons to zoom? Who cares if you can't read it, or find the right settings, or just have shit menus? it works!
Blender suffers the same problems.

Tried using Blender. It's like sitting in the Space Shuttle cockpit. All I could make was a grey cube in a blue void.Blender suffers the same problems.
