i was recently reading about an old comedian i used to listen to doug stanhope and it got me thinking just how redditminded comedians are people shit on carlin now but every comedian shares his shitty world view every joke is about drugs or sex or supporting abortion has anyone else picked up on this?

comedians are mostly a bunch of unoriginal attention whores recycling the same 9 or 10 stupid jokes, of COURSE they're all ripping off Carlin - where else are they gonna get material?

the Redditor part is because they're all faggot SJWs, they're otherwise a bunch of useless substance-abusing emotional cripples, so they all have to pretend their comedy is about "equality" or some shit

Originality is no longer respected. They all want to follow trends because there is no immediate benefit to creating your own trends and material. Getting claps because of pandering to the audiences' biases is gay but easier than really pushing the boundaries. Furthermore, current comedians want to be intellectuals in the worst way. They will analyze the structure and rules of how to make a good routine, making everybody's act the upvote same agrred upon crap.

I've moreso noticed it from everyone in general since the advent of social media started conditioning people into thinking anybody gives a fuck what they have to say.

Comedians nowadays are aiming for the lowest-common denominator in terms of humor, much like the takes the average redditor has. Being risky and daring with jokes means their career get shot in the foot.
