I love how the modern day left tries to either demolish Hunter S Thompson for being chauvinist asshole or reinvent him as this hardcore Antifa who would have hated Drumpf. The fact is that Hunter hardly crapped on Ronald Reagan who is without a doubt the folkhero of the conservatives party.

The truth is Hunter S Thompson was just a funny degenerate who loved his hard drugs and guns. That's all he ever truly cared about. If he didn't An-Hero in the 2000s he would have cried his heart out for George Floyd while lamenting how Floyd had so much more Fentanyl to put into his body.
