They sold them in Australia earlier this year.

It probably is a regional thing. I think they still sell spaghetti and fried chicken + rice in the Philippines. They probably also don't want to bother with logistics. Maybe they'll make it a seasonal item like the McRibs sometime in the future?

I used to travel more and love Jollibee spaghetti, is it comparable?
 
Ronald McDonald used to be a slave of the evil tyrannical Burger King and onion rings remind him of the chains he was bound with.
 
Jack in the Box and Whataburger have decent onion rings. Of the two I'd recommend Jack since the Whataburger drive thru takes forever and the quality of the rings is the same.
 
The real question is why doesn't Mcdonald's have burger rings? Or chicken rings?

Arby turnovers are halfway there to ring-shape, maybe someday there will be toroidal fast food dessert...
