Why does user Null keep fucking with the site?

First it was the reaction notifications, now I can't immediately spot if someone's new or not and have to hover over their name or avatar to see when their account was created. I guess next you won't be able to see account creation date at all, right? What could possibly be the reasoning?

I just find it kinda shitty to frame his reasoning as "oh, users were getting DOPAMINE HITS off of stickers" when he literally used the verbiage that "users didn't feel safe" over fucking neg-rates.

1. No more reaction scores or sticker notifications to protect the feelings of people that "felt unsafe" to post on the website normally because they might get neg-rated, thus they resorted to bizarre DM chains.
2. No more join dates under names, possibly to protect new users from being hazed or called out when they say predictably stupid shit because they haven't lurked long enough. I think this also means no more pink triangles as well.
But we're supposed to go along with the idea that this is BTFO'ing terminally online dopamine addicts that were getting off on every poz-rate when in reality, it's embarrassing safe space bullshit. Oh no, someone might disagree with my post or give me a trash can sticker and I'll see that in my notifications! I'm literally shaking right now. Next we'll have to get rid of avatars and user names. I don't feel safe when Hulk Hogan is staring me down and calling me a right wing chud.

IMO my theory is someone he knows/admires that uses the site complained to him about this stuff. I don't like complaining about what null does because this site exists on his personal pain and effort. To be honest the changes he has made over the years has been improving the userbase and the site has been more open to contrary opinions than when I first signed up.

Reaction score truly is fucking gay though, and good riddance to that goddamn horseshit. It promotes groupthink and circlejerking.
