My complaints with Samsung are limitless. Let me explain.

So I bought a Samsung A12 after my old iPhone SE broke because it was the cheap option, and I figured it was good. I thought it was going to be great, but I was wrong. It's so slow to switch tabs; it takes 2 seconds, and the app lags until it starts working. It has one UI core, which is the neutered version of one UI, which I did not even know existed. It does not come with a screen recorder, and all the third-party screenrecorder apps are paid with watermarks. The UI is so ugly, it hurts with the awful-looking icons. I tried using alternative launchers, but that did not solve it. I used to be able to hide apps, but for some reason that feature just went away after an update. On my iPhone, I could quickly add and delete my friends Google accounts. Now it's so slow. and It has these pointless wait screens that prevent you from doing that.

And on top of all this garbage, Samsung has a right-to-repair policy almost as bad if not worse than Apple; they do not let you repair the products you own; they have terrible quality control; yet none of these tech review hacks even mention this. Every review of this phone says, This is the perfect budget phone. Android is good. Samsung is good etc when in reality it's a slow mess that makes your grandma look fast; it's a disaster, and I don't know why this company lacks a large hatebase. I looked up Samsung Sucks only to find like 3 videos with less than 1k views. They don't have the excuse of being a small company either, as they are the second largest phone brand, but yet they do the same garbage anti-consumer practices as Apple but without the smooth and consistent software experience.

Now to the advantages: the advantages are the hardware. The hardware blows the iPhone SE out of the water; it has a headphone jack, a decent enough bigger screen, and uses USB, so I can use the same charger as my laptop. That being said, I am an American, so all my friends and family use iPhones and lighting charges, so I don't really have that advantage. Another advantage, though I rarely use it, is sideloading apps. Sideloading apps is a great feature and something I wish Apple would copy, but aside from that, I'm not sure there are any advantages.

Samsung sucks what can I say? Also, Samshills on YouTube suck on a shotgun.

The repair game sucks; that's why I bought midgrade, a A51. Has all the power of a old S10, a good camera, really can't ask for much better nowadays.

Samsung A12
Well there's your problem right there.
Ignoring the higher end galaxy and S series phones, the A series has the first letter be the product level, and the second number is the generation. So an A71 would be a higher end model than an A33 but would be older.
An a12 is bottom of the line, being made as cheap as possible by a company that would rather you buy one of their more expensive phones. Of course it will be garbage.

Any cheap phone is going to either run like shit or have something fucked up about it. There are more mid range devices that fully work with a bad camera or something that doesn't really matter if you just need a device for 400. Or just buy the 1300 dollar iPhone and never have any problems ever.

I would buy this excuse, but I had a Kyocera, a Japanese Android that looks like a brick, and one time I borrowed my friend's cheap LG phone, and they both ran faster, so they could make low-end phones fast but chose to cripple them.

Both LG and Kyocera have enough respect for their lower end phones that they do their best to make them solid. Samsung is very bad for trying to make their phones as cheap as possible.

100 percent agree that's why Samsung sucks My iPhone SE had awful hardware but its software was perfect. I never had an issue until I dropped it and took it to a repair shop, only for them to tell me it would cost more to repair my $300 phone than to buy a new one

It is sad that LG folded, I miss their phones. I tried a Redmi and I hated it. Good specs and such but their system sucks so hard, it did not cost me a cent and I felt ripped off.

One person once told me that if I wanted to change my phone, I should track down an old flagship as those have mostly top of the line specs and outperform most of current mid range phones while still being relatively cheap and that the spares can also be found easily

I remember my friend had a newer LG, and it had ads built into the OS. That's most likely why they folded.

I got an A14 like threeish weeks ago, no complaints from me, but for perspective I had a bottom of the barrel piece of shit the phone company sent me due to ending 3g, so anything is a step up from that thing. I also use my phone as basically just a music and podcast player exclusively so there's not a lot of apps slowing it down.

Using mine as a podcast player and music player is not bad because you don't really have to switch apps; it's just when you want to browse the web or watch YouTube that it's a massive pain because of the delay.

I have an A12. I threw a 60GB SD card in it when I bought it for like an extra $40 and I haven't had any problems with it. Had an S6 Active before that and I'd still be using it but after 7+ years it couldn't keep up with 4G.

I'd have gotten a higher end model if I gave a shit. My S6 was like $650, this one was maybe $180 and aside from the camera being not quite as awesome it does all the things. Honestly I'm giving very serious thought to going back to a flip phone because smartphones are such a time suck, but on the other hand it's nice to be able to watch YouTube videos on the crapper.

I was planning on buying a pixel only for the AT&T store to only have the newest expensive ones for like $500, so I believe I paid $300 for the A12, thinking it would be good because of the big screen, but I was wrong. It sucks, and with pixels becoming cheaper, I could most likely get one for less than 300 bucks, and every review I see says it has fast software on top of not having Samsung's ugly one UI

If you want reparability the only choice is that hippie ass fairphone that costs a shitton has mid specs at best and the ads are full of niggers and cunts but the company are 100% whitey soyboys
Or just buy the 1300 dollar iPhone and never have any problems ever.
HAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAA! an iphone "never have any problems ever"!

This kind of retardness is why apple stock keeps going up, you shitheads keep buying this overpriced polished turds over and over again, fucking yuropoorcrats had to force apple to use USBC because you braindead ifags dont have the balls to do it

I'd rather have a cheap shitty Android than an exhorbitantly expensive shitty iPhone, it's just basic economics

I bought the cheap, crappy iPhone SE Lol, I did not have many issues, and it "just worked," but I don't want to be in the walled garden, and I heard the Pixel 7a is better and for a cheap price.
