Why does DSP have a full sub-board?

It's the same shit with a lot of people of interest right now, the internet is turning into bland flavorless oatmeal. Barely a single raisin or cinnamon swirl in sight.

Anyways he's always had an intense autism orbit, so it was made mainly as a containment board originally, and right now it's not like guys like CWC, Ethan Ralph, or Nick Fuentes are doing any more than he is, so idk why anyone has to single out Saint Philburt to discriminate against.

the better question is why do people even care about DSP in the first place? some guy who streams himself being bad at video games and managed to not pay taxes? okay, whatever.

Shouldn't be lolcows mildly interesting and somewhat active?
Some of our lolcows are barely breathing. DSP is like top-end boring, but you also have cows like Kanye who do real work for 2 weeks and then go into hiding.
Even the lolcows are of low quality these days. Maybe we should use some selective breeding and create a proper lolcow race

Phil's one of those long standing cows who's had a lot happen in his life over the years, and has produced a shit ton of moments to point and laugh at. This is primarily thanks to Phil himself being a massive attention whore who's diligently documented the past 20-some yrs of his life chasing that sweet e-fame.

That said, he's been over the hill now for a good 6ish yrs in terms of 'quality content' as he'd put it. Pretty much nothing is going to top the Sons of Kojima imploding, the fap incident, and PandaLee leaving him within the span of a year. Sure he still gets the occasional happening like the WWE Champions gacha game account being discovered or the Twitch departnering, but at this point most people can safely just ignore him until he inevitably files for his 2nd bankruptcy 4yrs from now the first day he's able to.

He was a lot more interesting in the early to mid 2010s, especially with the fapping while playing Nioh incident, PandaLee leaving him for being a terrible boyfriend and person in general (also cheating on him for being a terrible boyfirend which I can't blame here for since he really did treat her like a maid and not like a woman he loved), SoK imploding and that one crossover with LTG in SF4. Just like LTG though, all his prime content is behind him and he's now just a 40 year old man with no career prospects and genuinely shitty life that plays video games for a living. He might outlive everyone but that doesn't mean he'll be interesting while doing it.

It's always the same boring shit with him, not like anything else happens with him most of the time, so why the sub-board?
DSP is a slow-moving cow. Always has been. I don't blame anyone for not keeping up with the day-to-day of DSP, but this last year has been one of Phil's worst years in a while.

He accidentally revealed that he does in fact play WWE Champions, something he's lied about since 2016. He's heavily implied (DSP semantic) that his leaked banked transactions, which he's admitted happened several times, were now forged by trolls. He had an absolute disaster interview that's gotten about 200k views, something that he still copes about like once a week. He's beefed with ReviewTechUSA, Keemstar, and he cost WingsofRedemption and Boogie2988 $50,000, for which they've turned on him. He got dunked on by LowTierGod, cementing his status as the guy who is firmly beneath the FGC's biggest lolcow. He's publicly defamed the Cannon Brothers several times, claiming that they knowingly protected a pedophile, as well as claiming that they straight up lied to Capcom about their netcode, which would be the biggest and longest running scam in FGC history, if it was even remoltely true. He's doxxed two of his biggest paypigs this year. The list goes on and on.

But to answer your question: Why does DSP have his own subforum? - It's because there is so much autism and lore that it cannot be contained to one thread.

Firstly, DSP could not just have one thread, because we have already maxed out one "Main General" thread at 10k posts, and now have 3k posts or something in the new one. And that's just the Main General thread. This does not count any other threads, which he have 10 pages of.

We have dedicated threads for different topics.

WWEC champions? It's own thread. Phil's wife? It's own thread. Bank Leaks? It's own thread. DSP's orbiters and paypigs? It's own thread. You see where I'm going with this. DSP streams twice a day, six days a week. These things do not pertain to the day-to-day of DSP, so as to not shit up the thread, we diversify the posting into different threads.

The DSP subforum also has a heavy emphasis on archiving and preservation of data/lore. Anyone who wants to know about Phil's bankrupcty can come to the subforum, see the archived and pinned Bankruptcy thread, and find all of the info they want, right there. No need to dig through multiple main threads to find it.

And lastly, I don't kow about the rest of KF, but roughly 80-90% of the traffic on the DSP is from people who are not logged in, or not registered. The vast majority of traffic is from lurkers. So there are more people that are interested in DSP than you realize.

TLDR: There is so much DSP bullshit that it needs to be spread out over multiples threads. It cannot be contained to one thread.
