Oh I fucking HATE aniplex. At least sentai film works puts their shit on sale.Licensing fees. If you think that's expensive, you should check out how much Aniplex charges for some of their releases:View attachment 5666232
If you want a physical copy of a series, check on ebay or mercari. You can usually find titles at a cheaper price. I know Crunchyroll purchased Right Stuf, but they occasionally had decent sales on the site.
I own quite a few much better than this
Bro pirate quality rips are ass. Stop lying to yourself.it's not even worth it unless it's some sort of shelf piece. It's a better investment if you like anime to just buy an external hard drive you can have on your computer or tv and download whatever show in HD on nyaa. I used to try to buy shows I liked on DVD or whatever but now I only ever get the blu ray if I literally can't find whatever it is with the dub I want or whatever it is I can't find. A lot of people upload bonus features too if you're into that.
I have a bunch of videos of dragon ball, z, gt & most of the tapes of Gundam 0079 but I'd never buy that shit again for the prices they go for on a current format. I keep those because it's kind of a cool shelf thing to have, but just pirate that shit and make your own blurays if you need to have a copy.
Oddly enough I've never found one of these elusive discs that contain like 15 minutes of extra booba. If they do anything, it's mostly cleaning up the AnimationIt costs a lot of money to uncensor all those nipples
you never heard of a remux you retarded faggot?Bro pirate quality rips are ass. Stop lying to yourself.
Sounds like less that a 35mb bit rate.you never heard of a remux you retarded faggot?
This I've heard in my research. They just never changed the rental era prices because people paid. Very Japanese, keeping with traditionOriginally, physical sales of anime media like Blurays were targeted towards places such as rental stores rather than individual consumers, unlike in the West. As a result, they were high price low volume affairs. They never really changed this dynamic, it's just that it turns out besides rental stores, hardcore otaku were willing to pony up the large sums for the Blurays, and it was more profitable to cater to the few hardcore fans than going for the mass market and making a small profit margin (cf. anime figurines).
The one silver lining is that Japanese Blurays at least, while fleecing you for $100+, come with a bunch of extra goodies, like an exclusive game, VN, or merch.

I've never had a poor quality anime blu ray. The sound alone is superior
you're a retard, the sound in a remux is the same. Its just the blu ray verbatim moved to a container file. the bdmv is literally just the bluray disc as a digital file. you probably don't even have a sound system beyond possibly a sound bar to hear the extra channels properly regardless but even so, this is how this works. I download shit (not just anime) as remuxes because I have the space on drives and so where applicable I have full 4k and 9.1 channel atmos sound and shit for my home theater set up. With anime you almost never get releases like that on blu ray anyways but you get 7.1 channel sound and full HD in themI've never had a poor quality anime blu ray. The sound alone is superior
I'm sorry hold the fuck up. "I want to Eat Your Pancreas"? The cover and title together are so confusing, wtf chinese cartoons.Licensing fees. If you think that's expensive, you should check out how much Aniplex charges for some of their releases:View attachment 5666232

It may be a just a file, but it's on a disc that'll last 100 years. A hard drive crashes in 10.you're a retard, the sound in a remux is the same.
