Why does alcohol make me hyper while caffiene makes me sleepy?

Because you're oversocialized and thus when you consume depressants it reduces subconscious inhibitions causing you to perceive yourself as more hyperactive, while consuming caffeine increase those suppressive inhibitions giving you the perception that you are more tired.

A psychiatrist might say you have ADHD, so more innate stimulation causes your mind to become less noisy and thirsty for external stimulation, but ADHD is gay and not a real medical condition.

They'll give you some adderall though if you describe the situation to them. Everyone has ADHD nowadays.
