its a show about a smug manlet that looks and acts like a retard outsmarting people with superior logic and intelligence which is basically every redditors power fantasy and in extension every troon and commies with the only real difference being that columbo is merely pretending to be retarded

yeah i too have been wondering why this tv show form the 70s has gotten so popular on the internet as of late. seems like out of nowhere you see it pop up and people quote it or make reference to it. why did it get so popular and why is it so popular with the commies? (i think saying commies and trannies is redundant since 99% of trannies are commies)

That's interesting. It started getting recommended to me on youtube recently, so I began watching it last year. I wonder if Youtube just mass promoted it to everyone... :thinking:

For those doubting the link to Columbo and a
tranny audience there is a reason it's there. One big one is the meme va channel Gianni which is run by a guy who was a voice in hugely popular zoomer game Ultrakill. He's made several readings of random meme images and like several of these people he has a leftie slant which lead to this trainwreck.



You can see who'd this attract to the show. Not saying it's absolutely the origin but it did not help.

No I noticed that, I hate Gianni Matragrano as well. But I saw posts about Columbo from the likes of ShaunJen, Bomberguy and other trannies/commies back from covid. Idk what happened during lockdown for these people to attach themselves to this show. I thought it was one of those subversive "too progressive for its time" properties like the boondocks or something which is why I watched it, it didnt seem like one, just seemed like a mid cop show like banyon.

I honestly think there must just be some algorithmical hijinx going on, because like I said late last year I got a TON of recommendations for Columbo on youtube (as well as heavily promoted shorts which means they are all over tiktok most likely...) and had never even watched the show before then, I guess it's just a coincidence. How strange!

It's just a cop show from the 70's. I remember when they used to play it TV when I was a kid and lived in Baltimore in the 90's. We didn't have cable so there was only like 3-4 channels you could watch and they played a lot of old shit from the 70's and 80's. I used to watch Cheers. Like I was 8 or 9 years old watching Cheers. Watching Jay Leno at night in the mid to late 90's. Just the monologue and skits. I didn't watch the celebrity shit. I remember seeing MASH on TV The Rockford Files with James Garner Magnum PI. They would also play Creep Show on TV as well. Yes there was Columbo. I knew about Columbo before whatever cringey shit is going on now. Also Knight Rider. They didn't play much new stuff some channels did but they mostly played a lot of stuff from the 70's and 80's. I remember Perfect Strangers as well.

Knight rider hasnt aged well, a lot of the car talk and david hasselhoff in general have become really cringe.

I don't know because I haven't watched since the 90's. Everyone says everything is cringey these days. usually it's not the stuff that is actually cringey that gets labeled as cringey.

I remember when the Knight Rider reboot was on TV in the late 90's. That was cringey. It was bad.

I went to this place for dinner one day and someone had a K.I.T.T car in the parking lot. Even had the red light in the area under the hood that would go back and forth. It looked like the car from the show or very close to it. I think I even heard it say Michael. It was pretty cool.

I watched Columbo because it was on between The A-Team and then The Fall Guy & back then we didn't have no remote control. They probably like it cause he was a scruffy fucker who was always takin down fancy rich people and society types. Was never really a fan but then or now.
