This is a win 9/10 though. It gets rid of the carjacking nigs, drug dealing white pieces of shit, and the antisocial scumbags living in council/government housing.

The 1/10 is when the area was otherwise already good, but has been injected with pride fags, self-flagellating hipsters and boutique wine bars.

Nice neighborhoods should have some sort of continuity. Those coffee houses and shops with stuff nobody needs will only be there as long as things are very good anyway.

Property prices don't mean shit if you don't intend to ever move like some faggot who never had any roots, businesses that move in will cater to the rich faggots that moved in and poisoned your town, and we never had gypsies ijn this town so crime and filth were not an issue.

Sometimes it's that the person is so racist that they think colored people are always poor, sometimes it's because they like having the poors living around them, making them feel rich when they spent too much to ever leave the middle class.

Neglected to mention this in my previous reply, but I thought you guys would enjoy this.

I live in what is perhaps the apex area of gentrification in a large metropolitan city centre. Lots of newfags, hipsters, moneyed middle class. But this place used to be an abject shithole 20 years ago or so.

I found myself involved in a conversation a few months back about a foreign student moving to my city to study. He asked several other white lefty types which areas were good (safe) for living in, whilst being accessible to the universities and social scene.

I suggested my own area, as it is extremely safe. By contrast, the neighbourhoods around the campuses are crime-ridden hotspots, with, you guessed it, large immigrant/underclass communities.

In a bigbrain move, these lefties were uniformly condemning the area I live in as 'impersonal,' 'gated,' and 'anonymous and cut off,' whilst wholeheartedly recommending these shitholes as alternatives. People are stabbed, robbed at knifepoint, or have their cars vandalised and stolen in these areas all the time.

Imagine being so against gentrification that you would happily walk an unaware foreigner into real danger, just to stroke your own self-hating dick.

I later DMed the guy and told him not to move to those areas, as he'd regret it. Last I heard, he moved into a place adjacent to mine, which is also gentrified and nigger-free.

No seriously, so many beautiful locations I used to visit got torn down because of it and most of them immediately became ghetto as fuck

Example, there used to be a Drive In over in my neck of the woods, one of the largest in the US as a matter of fact, was torn down to make room for section 8 housing and it just looks like a blight to the city.

Because white women from California/Ohio/Florida move in and bring their mid-size dog they fuck. Then a bunch of vegan and yoga shops no one wants open up and all of a sudden your neighborhood is boring and the rent goes up 100%. They don't worry though because their dads probably subsidize their thottery.

As the wonderful Marvel documentary "Black Panther" taught us, the outward appearance of desolation, crime, hopelessness, poverty, drug addiction and despair is just a smokescreen. The ghettos are in fact wonderful places where black people can live free, raise families, pursue educations, develop Nobel Prize winning scientific discoveries and practice spear fighting in the comfort of a racially homogenous ethnostate with no poverty or police force to kneel on their necks. Obviously the keys to this utopia can't be shared with white people, else we'd steal it.

In order for black people to have their Wakanda they must be allowed to live in peace, without interference from the white devil or his racist police force. Every time an area is gentrified they must pack up and move somewhere else and start all over again.

Hipsters are the kamikazee shock troops of gentrification. They're the first wave of expendables that go into a neighborhood to 'soften it up'. They get brutalized by the chimpoutery in the process, but they deserve it for being dumbass wokester zealots. They spend their trust fund money, and raise the prices of everything, and that pushes the undesirables out, and it clears the way for the second wave of normies to come in and finish up the civilization-reclamation process.

People bitch about gentrification, because some people like the smell of rotting garbage, burning meth, and bum shit.

They feel like they're being lied to because they see this quaint town and didn't realise it's just some developer-architect's product. The tards who believe in quaint towns hate capitalism and employment.

People come into a shitty part of town, refurbish it and make it really nice and jack the prices way up. Darkies and assorted homeless are shooed out as none can afford it. Hipsters move in. People get angry because they see it as victimizing poor people.
