I don't think anyone "hates" it any more than any other orchestra music. It's just that it comes off as very "LARP-y" if you say you listen to it unironically.
Just like how every faggot wanting to brag about how cultured they are will tell you they listen to classical music, listening to marching band music like this makes you sound like a faggot virtue signaling about how patriotic you are.
