Your expectation of "privacy" is for naught when your mother posts about your achievements on her Facebook page.

Because in 2025, having more control over your own data feels like a luxury.
Before the 2020s, “privacy” was just one of those buzzwords Linux users squirted out when people asked why they used it. Didn't really matter but was a fun bonus, for most people anyway
