I hate sports. My husband played hockey for a while in the US and Europe, but I can't stand sports. I find it pointless and boring. I enjoy athletic men. I just don't understand why I hate sports.

Because its absurdly gay.

Football is men throwing and chasing balls
Wrestling is sweaty men in skin tight suits grabbing each other
Soccer is men handling balls with their feet
Tennis is two people taking turns smacking balls
Basketball is men manhandling balls and trying to steal said balls from one another and then trying to slam dunk said balls into a hole
Volleyball is taking turns smacking balls
Baseball is hitting balls followed by people running to said balls to get a firm grip on them so they can pass them to their buddies
Table tennis is smacking balls on a table
Boxing is profusely sweaty men aggressively fisting one another until one passes out
Bowling is aggressively tossing heavy balls
Billards is smacking balls into other balls
Dodge ball is trying to avoid being smacked with someone else's balls
Tetherball is aggressive ball smacking
Kickball is just outright kicking balls

The only sport I enjoy is MMA, the art of men beating the ever-loving shit out of each other has been around since humans could walk. Muh ancestors would be proud.

I remember growing up and being called a "faggot" for not liking sports, but all i saw were men touching each other sweaty bodies and playing with balls. i always though sports were for gay men who haven't come out yet. lol

It was a requirement for every men to be nude in the olympian sports in old Athen. Not homoerotic at all.

Always hated sports, but I'm fine with the gym. Hate the competitive aspect of it though, that lay pressure on people to get strong fast and usually fuck up their bodies. Because of bad technique. Slow and steady is the way.

I only like running and I never understood the appeal of "sports" like football and baseball where you hardly move. I thought the point of sports was physical activity.

You have to have an affinity for them. I grew up playing European football, so I’ll always be a fan. I have very fond memories running the ball down the pitch in my youth, and even fonder one’s waking up at dawn to head over to the local pub to catch matches all day long. If you’re unable to make that sort of personal connection, it’s unlikely you’ll ever find yourself enjoying them, even if your husband actively participates. That’s OK though - you’re allowed to have your own interests. My wife hates that I have a passing interest in Chris Chan.

I sometimes like to have sports on in the background when I'm out to dinner. It's something I can pay attention to when I'm not really thinking about anything and ignore when I'm no longer interested. One thing that ruins it for me are the constant commercial breaks; you get like 5 minutes of a game and then some drug company wants you to ask your doctor if Xandrexadrine is right for you. Otherwise I wouldn't mind having basketball or American football on in the background at home.

My family loves footie. I think it's pointless. No offense.

CAR GO VROOM
I grew up around car enthusiasts and racing addicts. Spent most of my childhood watching people build, wreck, and fix cars of all sorts. I never really got the point of all of it until I got my first car and hit 110 going down the interstate at 2 in the morning. That rush of adrenaline can really change your perspective on something like that.
