Why do dorks like Ted Kaczynski so much

I know a lot of dorks and I can probably count on one hand the number of dorks that aren't power-hungry. Inferiority complexes to put it another way. Ted's cause is not their concern. They want to be the Joker.

1) He was a huge edgelord and a massive contrarian
2) He was very intelligent, but socially inept
3) He was definitely on the spectrum
4) He wrote a book that is hard to classify as either left or right, insane or profound. It somehow manages to be all of it at the same time.
5) He was an infamous domestic terrorist. Over time, that makes you cool and counter-culture. Like Black Beard, Spartacus, Che Guevara or John Brown.

I don't get it either, Ted K was a smelly hippy that killed and mutilated innocent people. If he wasn't such a spastic autist killer he might've had a real impact on the world.

i've never met someone who quoted ted that even practiced a 1/5th of what he was preaching. like imagine being a fat, smelly weirdo constantly online quoting ted kaczynski.

Funny pipebomb man that built a shed in the woods and sent mail. Simple as.

I read his manifesto and liked it even though I disagree with a fair amount of his points and opinions.
