Think about the internet stars who went mainstream. From the early days of Fred and Annoying Orange to the modern day Paul brothers they all share one trait in common. They’re obnoxious by design. How does this appeal to ultra normies who still watch TV?

tv gets worse ratings than youtube now. show developers think they can leech off the popularity with a sitcom based on a fucking twitter account. they might be right? it's not like they were going to produce anything better, that's why nobody gives a shit about tv in the first place

television still has undeserved residual prestige but dumb online zoomer comedy is the mainstream now and the only escape is death

People want to see themselves represented in the media that they consume, that's why every show has to have a gay and black character and why every successful celebrity and youtuber is a dipshit.
