Multiple (ok, 2) normie guys I know are (a) aware I'm a gay, (b) have no motivation for me to repent and have kids or something (unlike my parents), (c) have normie political views and aren't homophobes in public AFAIK.

And yet when I talk to them they'll randomly mention how I could be pulling hot women if I did this or that. Are they secretly based and trying to save me from a life of sin? Or just retarded?

Solution
They're probably just trying to give you general life advice and are a bit too straight-brained to not couch success in terms of pulling women.
Go lift and pull in better bottoms, OP, your friends mean well, they're trying to compliment you if anything.
Are they in a position to give anyone advice on how to pull hot women?
Yeah, I guess, they're kind of just regular guys whose advice boils down to "work out and it just happens", neither are NEET nor particularly stylish IMO
Id ask them why they are interested in your preferences. Sometimes that puts people in their place.
I just get the sense they'd get confused and I'd have to explain what homosex means all over again. I don't really care about correcting them anyway because I don't find them hot, they're the short hair /fit/ type that look like beef jerky

Throw it right back at them. Randomly tell them how much boipussy they could get if they just do this and that. Tell them to abandon their wives / girlfriends and trade those used goods in for another man who they'll have so much more in common with.

When they get confused you can pull the same thing on them by acting like the mere thought of someone being straight is utterly incomprehensible to you.

Your friends are straight. They don’t understand the appeal of being gay, moreover, they do not understand why anyone would want to be gay. That’s perfectly fine. Things could be a lot worse for you. Look, if all you’ve got to worry about are your pals chiding you about the “hot women” you’re potentially passing up, you’re in a pretty good spot.

Why the poo zone? Women have poo zones, too. Do you know what comes out of there all the time? Like literally all the time, probably twice a day even.

Sounds like they're hitting on you to me.
If they're all like "wow, I just can't understand being gay, I bet even if I sucked another guy's dick it wouldn't turn me gay haha" there could be some hidden agenda
