Why aren't chocolate coins a valid currency?

Because the gubmint said they aren't,
STOP RIGHT THERE CITIZEN! CHOCOLATE COINS ARE NOT A VALID FORM OF CURRENCY BECAUSE ERM... BECAUSE THEY JUST AREN'T, OKAY?

It's because they are too yummy. So yummy that everyone would be eating their money like retards eat real coins. But they can't get their choco coins back out of their poop. People would literally be flushing their money down the toilet. Also it would cause a spike in diabetes from all the sugar.

Chocolate coins in their gold colored foil wrappers should be used to back the dollar though since they are worth more than the a dollar itself.

I bought a little net sack of them at a CVS once. The chocolate was ok but not great. While reading the tag attached to the netted sack I saw they were made in Israel. I never bought anymore after that.
 
While it would be good, Most people then would eat them. Thus, causing the already increasing obesity rates to skyrocket.
 
some chocolate coins are tastier than others and therefore they aren't easily fungible
