"I'm not a porn addict" says the man yiffed.I'm not, but if I was I could stop any time.
I shall be unyiffed some day!"I'm not a porn addict" says the man yiffed.
Make a buncha money and buy a foreign wife.I have hopelessly lonely and with no future.
If the question could be modified to "why are many Americans addicted to porn?" I would say it's Alienation or Atomization due to the Neoliberal post-Bretton Woods economic world Order. There's a documentary called "The Century of Self" about Edward Bernays. His school of thought was that deriving identity of self through consumerism was good and brought order to an otherwise animalistic and chaotic society. He wanted to "train" people to desire personal indulgences. While I think Bernays was a very clever man and correct about some things, I don't think his school of thought worked out so well. And therefore, we have alienation and atomization from economic fruits and social bonds.
Edit: Bernays broke the taboo of women smoking (as a marketing campaign) by subconsciously making it into a phallus symbol. Yes, you too Mrs. Jones, can have a dick.
