I look at it as them being more culturally Christian than churchgoing, Bible verse dropping Christian.

It’s a way of taking a stand and saying they’re not interested in Islam or Judaism and they don’t want those religions eclipsing Christianity in our county. They agree with the common knowledge parts of Christianity but it’s more cultural identity than actual religion. It’s not a bad thing.
