Probably more related to the porn addiction that inevitably rots the brain. They spend entirely too long in the digital world so it would make sense they develop that addiction.

Most of famous gay techbro became techbro before pornhub was founded.

There are two option why this is the case:

1-Being a techbro is inherently a risky move, at least used to be. Gay men had no "set" part for them like straight men did, so they could take the gamble.

2-Peter Thiel set up his boytoys in good positions and they contunied from there. Although he funds straight people too, so skill issue, maybe?

asking the real questions here aren't you? individuals whom have spent a lot of time with computerz and perhaps messing with some LAN or WAN (e.g: the Internet) connection
may have led them to being exposed to some manifestation of pornography or expression of sexuality. there's many factors at play here and i didn't do research nor cba to do it.
whilst i'm not aware of any formal correlation between pure* homosexuality and computerz o algo, but i do know that there is a correlation between pornography consumption or
addiction and bisexuality in individuals. which could imply that there is some connection.

*technically by definition, bisexuality and homosexuality slightly differ from one another. a bisexual is attracted to both sexes sexually whilst the homosexual is attracted to same sex. whilst unrelated to the query at hand.
