Why are so many recent 2024 banned users pedos?

After Null implemented the red strikethrough for banned accounts, banned accounts and their behaviour have become more noticeable.

There was a mod who did an edit in the Pedophilia Debate Thread a while back that "Pedophiles are People Too"

I thought it was something written by the original poster, but it legitimately is a mod edit.

I wanted to call out said mod, but the logs were wiped. Can't say why or how. I don't remember who was the moderator for this board in 2019, but if I could guess, it was probably a mod who deleted their account or got banned themselves. If I remember correctly, there's been three who meet that criteria.

If it's a joke, I'm not laughing. I've amended the red text in the first post. If the moderator who made the edit takes umbrage over this, they're free to out themselves for everyone.
