Internet personalities tend to be mostly range from normal, mediocre to loser types irl who would never have gotten any attention otherwise, is easier for it to fuck with their heads or just that their shitty or mediocre traits get blown out and can be seen in full HD because they are not people that were ever meant for that kind of scrutiny and exposure, that kind of thing can severely alter someone´s sense of self perception.

Traditional celebrities are somewhat inducted into it and they are part of a larger system and network of people who orbit them irl and manage them, internet personalities might just be some dude in their home pc who suddenly has more followers than the president and its left to his/her own devices to deal with it mentally.

A lot of them would probably just be average people if it weren't for all the internet fame, when you really put some random joe on that level most would look like retarded clowns. But theres also those who are retarded clowns before the fame and turn for the worse.
