I don't mean the regular type of retard that reads Q&A threads, I'm talking proper mentally challenged retards that are still functioning enough to hold down a simple job. Every time I see one in the wild they're always happy as can be.

I'm jealous. Is the tard pill the one true way to happiness?

Probably because they find simpler things more interesting or enjoyable.

I remember when I was very young, I'd actually use a thread from some clothing as a toy. I imagined that it was a worm and was trying to escape from birds and other predators, the concept was so simple and relied mostly in imagination.

In that instance, it sounds a bit like what you're saying. I didn't need much, yet I had a good time, so it all comes down to perspective.

Just like a version of a saying that I recall: who is richer, the one who has the most, or the one who needs the less? Obviously without being taken to an extreme, that holds some truth, and it can be extrapolated to happiness as an analogy.

It's kind of like why a lot of women are really hardcore about their careers, and you wonder how they can be so hyped about something as lame as being a corporate monkey. Everyone has to do it, but why act so gay about the fact?

As a normal person you know you're being held back by the system, so you resent it and are unhappy.

For them though they realize they're operating well above their natural potential as an individual and so they're real jazzed about the situation.

Tard strength is not only a supreme physical strength but a strength of mind. Ever see a tard get sad? They are sad for like 4 seconds and then neutral or happy again for rest of the week.

Knowledge is pain and happiness is a choice. Suffering is the only universal guarantee as a human but the great buddha said nothing of choosing tard.
