Why are libertarians insufferable?

I've never met a nice libertarian so decided to ask this.

In my experience, most libertarians are materialistic autists who foolishly assume that most people by nature act rationally and in their own self-interest.

They think they are 100% correct, but they simply exclude a large amount of variables from their thinking.
And if you point it out to them, they simply pretend those variables are just follow-on effect of the few variables they do use.

There are many nice libertarians.

As much as I like their positions on civil liberties, what puts me off to them are their border policies and the belief that corporations would do a better job running society... like they're not the ones paying our politicians to run shit the way they are.

I've met many who are nice, but they're kind of like the vegans of politics. They make sure you know at every opportunity.

It doesn’t help that it’s a blanket term for a whole ideology and way of thinking, so there’s no true, ironed out Libertarian that is the textbook example.
For example, i’m the type who thinks speech should be free, we waste taxes on too much useless shit, more gun rights, etc.
But then you have the wings that are basically anarchists who are too pussy to admit it, think stuff like zoophilia is alright, etc.
Basically politics is gay and anyone who talks constantly about it are fags. The usual.
