Why are kiwis?

Kiwis are because no central planner said they couldn't be. Evolution was left unregulated, no regulatory agency imposed wingspan quotas or aerodynamic mandates. Some feathered individuals said "Screw the sky, we'll specialize"

The kiwi is what happens when birds embrace radical decentralization. No soaring, no migration, no aerial taxes. Just ground-dwelling sovereignty, an olfactory sense sharp enough to detect worms underneath leaves, and eggs that are comically large because no bureaucrat told them to keep it "proportionate"

Kiwis are because freedom enables strange miracles, and sometimes excellence means not flying at all, but homesteading the forest floor
