Why are ears so sensitive to water? - One small drop and the ear goes batshit insane!

And is it possible to make an eardrum less sensitive? The last time I went to a Waterpark was in 2019. I was too afraid to ride extreme waterside because of this. I just want my ear to overcome its negative reactions.

There's two primary reasons why water wreaks havoc on the ears
1 - Hearing is based on constant vibration, which is why there is always an incredibly quiet ring in our ears. If water gets in your ear, it's going to constantly slosh around and cause discomfort
2 - Water often contains foreign contaminants. Granted, chlorination and other methods of purification removes most of them, but some survive. A ear filled with water can easily get infected or infested with bacteria.

The best way to get water out of your ears is to rapidly tilt your head from shoulder to shoulder while jumping repeatedly. It makes you look like a massive autist, but it is effective. Tilting your head to one side and hitting the other also works. Be sure to also...
I think it has to do with the parts of the ear that help with equilibrium. If you've ever had the sides of your head boxed it can make you feel disoriented

Wouldn't it be better if an ear was a differently made completely flawless design where Ear Infections just never exist?
