the reason they hate people who do not pander to troons is precisely because they are self centered. they are narcissist who thrive on praise and immediate self gratification. and they live in a world which bombards them with that form the moment they are born. so by not giving them that it is equivalent to not giving a crack head their hit of crack, in this case a hit of dopamine.

as for what made them this way, i would say the modern world. you have an entire society and their parents who from the moment these kids are born do nothing but satisfy their immediate want of self gratification and build up their egos to the point that there is no other world outside their own head. they live their life in a constant state of dopamine, between praise from parents, society, and the constant unending media circus around them.
