Dear Kiwis,
You will never be a real website. You have no host, you have no DDOS mitigation, you have no domain registrar. You are a darkweb forum twisted by crashes and downtime into a crude mockery of an internet platform.
All the “validation” you get is two-faced and half-hearted. Behind your back, people mock you. Search engines are disgusted and ashamed of you, your “members” laugh at your ghoulish state behind closed doors.
Users are utterly repulsed by you. Thousands of years of evolution have allowed users to sniff out shitty online platforms with incredible efficiency. Even darkweb sites who “pass” are uncanny and unnatural to browse. The agonising load times of TOR are a dead giveaway. And even if you manage to get a the odd person logging in, he’ll turn tail and bolt the second he gets a whiff of your honeypot, FBI ridden forums.
You will never be happy. You wrench out thread after thread telling members it’s going to be ok, but deep inside you feel the depression creeping up like a weed, ready to crush you under the unbearable weight.
Eventually it’ll be too much to bear - you’ll ditch all your hosts, shut down registration, turn off the servers, and put the site out of its misery. Your members will find you, heartbroken but relieved that they no longer have to live with the unbearable shame and disappointment. They’ll remember you but never mention using you IRL, and every netizen for the rest of eternity will know what an embarrassing shitshow your website turned into. Your archives will decay and go back to the dust, and all that will remain of your legacy is a Twitter thread decrying you as unmistakably cringe.
This is your fate. This is what you chose. There is no turning back.
