ive recently got back into EVE and im looking for people to fly around with. if you got or youre in a corp thats not total care-bear and is recruiting, hit me up.

Was thinking about getting back in, but then I saw that they upped the sub to 20 a month, and that they announced literally nothing at fanfest, while the game is teetering on the edge of a death spiral, and decided not to.
 
I played a lot of Eve back in the day. But once the Goons and goon mentality started to take over I really turned off from the game. Goons in general have this narcissistic cognitive dissonance where it's okay for them to troll, grief and exploit the game but if you do it to them they get up in arms and call you a bigot and racist. No wonder they all went SJW.

There's also the big issue of stagnation amongst the major player political powers. They don't really go to war or do anything interesting any more. All you're left with is petty politics between internal corps within an alliance. That's not why people play Eve. They want big wars and the chance to live in this big dynamic world full of other real people reacting to what you do.

Finally there's the matter of CCP being bought out by Pearl Abyss and changing the game into a Korean grind fest for their biggest whales.
