Who decides what counts as sperging?

Since new posts are often divided into "New Sperging," "New Politisperging," etc., how is it determined which posts count as which of those things? Does it go by topic? Does a mod categorize each post manually? Is it done by an algorithm that analyzes keywords?

well let me tell you it's all wron g just like when they say everyhuthing is edgy well if you remember back in the day it was normal to say everything there was no edge but now everything is all soft much unlike my hardball life. so much in that same vane you have sperging which is really just emotional posting to a degree that is moreso what you could classify as normal. and i would say that it' sprhaps oversated more than it should be
