Yes, but Jews don't recognize Jesus as the Son of God, nor do Muslims (even though they call him the Breath of God, which hints at it being descended from some Christian heretical group some 17 centuries ago). They also aren't bound by Levitical Laws which are important to Jews nor do they put stock into the Talmud, the other major Jewish holy book. In fact that happened within the New Testament, during the Council of Jerusalem specifically. Again, that's like saying just because Buddhism grew out of Hinduism and have the share the same general base mythology and gods in their pantheon, it's the same religion. That's retarded and highly reductionistic to the point of ignoring major theological differences between the parent and child religion that differentiate them. Only midwits, legit retards and pseudointellectuals would actually try and defend such a stupid notion like Judiasm, Christianity and Islam are all the same because they worship the same God.
