Gardening tends to have pretty normal people. Cooking, as long as it isn't vegetarian or vegan, remains mostly normal. Painting - actual painting, not digital art, has weirdos, but not usually terminally online weirdos. Traditional photography has people who are nerdy, but generally not terminally online - don't get particularly good photos if you don't go anywhere or interact with people.

I feel like hobbies that require doing things in real life lean towards the highest ratio of normal people. There are weirdos everywhere, but the majority will be more normal.

It's called being eccentric! And if they're not obnoxious about it can be very endearing lol

Bird watching probably doesn't attract a lot of weirds. Exotic animal people are fucked. People into domestic animals are usually pretty okay (except for the "pet mom" types) but the exotic people are super out there.

My hobby is pretty abnormal in that I don't know many people who do things that are similar; I come up with weird ideas and then spend lots of time researching all of its feasibility. Then I never do anything about it. A rather normal hobby would be fishing for guys or gardening for girls.

Yes, they're usually a nice weird. Enthusiastic, probably very nerdy about their hobby, but usually not like online/media hobbyists.

Other hobbies with mostly normal people: woodworking, kayaking, casual hikers. Basically, the more effort or real life involvement a hobby has, the more normal the people involved seem to be.

Higher amounts of weirdos are media based hobbies, collectors, anything done primarily on the internet or via computer.

Home repair/DIY, nothing more normal than fixing up the house.
Least normie probably programmer because so many are trannies but plenty of normal people do have to do it for work, hmm.
Model kit building is up there, it usually either of anime robots, military vehicles or cars, all huge autism magnets. Its about going into as much autistic detail as humanly possible even on parts literally no one will ever see. Now there's even a huge coomer aspect with model kits of ridiculously proportioned anime women some being "fully modeled". you gotta make sure to find the paint that's just the right shade of vulva, not to mention the ones with dicks.
