Aliens wasted the most potential, Terminator has the most bad movies and really only one Predator movie is awful, so Predator wins?

Aliens like I said is the biggest waste of potential because there was a huge opportunity for a third film, which was squandered, with Terminator the story was done after 2 anyway.

On the flipside to that, at least the post Aliens sequels are interesting failures which is more than can be said for the Terminator sequels post 2.

Well I kind of lost track pf Predator after 2. But I'm one of the few people who really liked Alien 3. But it's certainly a lot of wasted potential. The clusterfuck development hell that Alien 3 went through did it no favors. You can still see the monastery remnants on the prison colony set because it was too expensive to make all new set pieces. Although they made the prisoners into religion which helped it all blend in. Killing off Hicks, and especially Newt, made the climax of Aliens feel like a waste. It's totally reasonable if you want to pretend Alien 3 never happened.

Terminator should have stopped at 2 though. Can't sit through the rest. Just seems like overkill. You need to know when you reached the summit because it's a steep fall down to the base of the mountain. And they pretty much fell face first.

Going to go with terminator. Predator got it pretty bad, but it has not been totally murdered yet.

Aliens while sucking hard movie wise has had some pretty good games after Colonial Marines. Alien isolation is probably my favorite survival horror game of all time, so the series has that at the very least.

Terminator though? That series was completely massacred. Not one good thing has come that franchise since 2003, and every film since then has killed the series even more. I'm going with terminator for that reason.

Definitely Terminator. After 2 the only way they could keep the series going is with time-travel shenanigans to undo the previous movie. Retcon after retcon, each movie was just a tired retread of either the first or second films. Salvation was the only one that tried to buck this habit by taking place during the cyborg apocalypse, but since it was yet another boring military drama with Terminators in it it was ultimately the most forgettable movie in the franchise. Shame.

Terminator got it the worst. The only real pieces of post T2 media that I enjoyed were the Sarah Connor Chronicles, and Terminator Resistance.

Alien at least had a lot of good spinoff material. The AvP games were great (especially AvP2), Isolation was an excellent horror game. Plus, some of the comics are pretty good.
