well if you look at ukraine you can see what a meat grinder modern war is. (which makes it no different than war 120 years ago) so i take it any country fighting a modern large scale war, like what a ww3 would be, would have to use conscription. i dont see any other way to keep up the large number of bodies an army would need for it.

My country, the great sovereign state of New Sneedlandia, where the hookers and blackjack flow like water. Population: me, the 5 Dominicans I "hired" to maintain the industrial sector of my proud nation, and Mr. Mittens the Maine Coon. Since my presence on the home front is vital in order to ensure peace and stability, it would have to be the Dominicans and Mr. Mittens, godspeed gentlemen.

America will, but it will be forced to draft both real genders, plus (probably) the all the fake and imaginary ones too.

Last time the draft was called, boys and only boys were drafted. Since then, it was ruled unconstitutional to have a boys-only draft. Not sure how they're gonna handle that.

Not to mention at this time the only people eligible for this forced military service are all zoomers or younger, and that's only getting worse as time goes on.

This is likely true and the military is so gay and woke, they'd probably force me in as a 40 something year old woman simply because they know from my Garmin watch I walked 10 miles today and the day is nowhere near over.

Germans wouldn't cuz muh Gorillian and would get assraped. Good, fuck them.

The US is gonna have conscription, but we've got a plan!

Step 1. Leave borders wide open so millions of fighting age males cross into the US.

Step 2. Have a blanket amnesty making all of the illegals into legal American citizens.

Step 3. Draft them all and send them to the meatgrinder.

America is literally the only civilized nation whose civilians have the ability to defend themselves. Any occupying force would have to go scorched earth on economy and infrastructure to the point of pyrrhic victory or risk casualties from every Cletus by going door to door. The only hit America would take from the destruction of the American military is an economic one.

Edit: pyrrhic victory is the wrong term here and I don't know the right one, but basically it would be such a pain in the ass to take America from the American people that it probably wouldn't be worth it, is what I'm saying.
