I was really angry because there was a special broadcast on all German TV stations instead of the normal programming.
Because of this, they didn't run DBZ that day. Hell hath no fury like a 7 year old missing two anime retards smacktalking each other while floating above boring green landscapes

I was at work in an office in the UK. We couldn't get back on t'internet twenty minutes after news broke. But I saw enough coverage in short space of time to understand the event was unlike any other, particularly after watching the jumpers.

I was playing Tony hawk's pro skater with my brother at like 6 am before school because it had to be returned to the video store later that day before we got back from school. Then our mom came home from work freaking out some planes crashing into buildings or some shit and then we couldn't play n64 anymore because they wanted to watch the news and then we had to go to school and learn about some dude named bin laden and some country named Afghanistan and some fucked up religion called Islam and some shit called terrorism all of which I had no idea existed prior to 911.

I was at home, drinking lemonade and getting hyped for the Champions League opener later that evening. Real Madrid v. Roma. It was supposed to be a God-Tier match, but it seems only Figo showed up to work that day. All the other players were traumatized and played like shit. They were probably afraid that Al-Qaeda might destroy the stadium, IDK.
