I see that phrase used a lot. I've been told its a racist thing but to me it sounds like how people might talk in old-timey literature.... and also it makes me think of a Stephen King novel.

Short answer: Indians.

My speculation as to *why*: Indians have this weird relationship with the English language where they say antiquated and weird expressions as some sort of skinwalker version of British politeness, like how they say SARR (sir) a lot. It doesn't make grammatical sense, but it basically means "do what must be done".

Considering the pajeet fatigue people are feeling these days, even normies mocking them in relatively benign ways is pretty standard now. It's up there with "Do not redeem!"

Well since I got my answer, its time for Christmas Groans!

So really I kinda thought maybe these came from a bunch of Needful Things. The kind that put people in a lot of Misery, who you might want to lock up in a Dark Tower. These people might be a sort of cultural Dead Zone that occupies the Dark Half of our soul, that we keep confined Under the Dome.

I can't keep this up.
