get some good bone conduction bluetooth earphones, it's a game changer. Way harder to lose them and the sound quality is perfectly good, the mic quality on them is great. I never go anywhere without mine and I never lose them because they hang around my neck when not in use. I make all my phone calls with them, they are amazing.

I was wondering about those kind of headphones because it kind of sounded like a gimmick. Guess I'll have to give them a try at some point.
