Her illness has been in the news lately and she's had to cancel attending some events. When will the Queen die?
She is only 3 years off of breaking the record for the longest reigning monarch in history. Will she live to do so?

Actually, this isn't all that crazy. The death of a spouse is hard for anyone and it could cause a lot of stress for an older person. I think I remember reading somewhere that elderly people are likely to die soon after their spouses die, but I can't remember where, so please take that with a grain of salt.

Not until Charles dies. She'll hold on for sheer love of the Union, which will not survive King Charles. Hopefully he'll be old enough to skip his turn, because he isn't half the man his own father was. William seems to understand what the monarchy is; I think he'll be a fine King.

I predict April of 2028. You'll start hearing about her being hospitalized more, then retiring from public engagements. She'll be 102. Her mom made it to 101.

I also remember her mother being frailer than the Queen when she was 95. In many photos from the mid-90s she was pictured walking with 2 sticks, and while active for her age, she wasn't as active as her daughter.

The Queen was pictured riding a horse as recently as a year ago, which for 94, is highly impressive.
