Like four hours ago talking to friends about how my mom said her plan for my retarded brother's long-term care is murder-suicide.

I also have a relative who can't take care of themselves. It's scary as hell to think about the future sometimes. Just wanted to say I feel for you.

Today. Dog's cancer came back. Found out a couple weeks ago, but it got me today when I was playing with him. The surgeries were for nothing now, just ended up putting him through unnecessary misery. From where the tumour was and its type, typically surgery is successful. He's one of the unlucky ones.

As cruel as it sounds, medical intervention on pets is pointless and a financial sinkhole. Sorry about your dog, though.
