Pretty sure Null moved his pizza day to Saturday or Sunday but pizza day, and any sacrament, is best celebrated on the day of your choosing, what makes it sacramental is the days leading up to it, not the particular day of the week.

Our cafeteria had surprisingly good pizza vs. what you'd typically expect. I always went for the spicy chicken sandwiches though.

Homemade pizza was the Saturday evening ritual when I was a kid. These days I'm more likely to make it on a weekday because it's a quick thing to assemble and throw in the oven.
