It'll end when we're able to manipulate our sex chromosomes without ending up as a pile of primordial goo. (I.E. being able to genetically manipulate every single aspect of the human body). But when you get to that point, furries are going to be far more prolific. You get no trannies, but the cost is furries manipulating themselves en-masse to be anthropomorphized human-animal hybrids on a genetic level.

As for the modern day transsexual trend, I think it's on it's last legs. The culture built around it inherently promotes narcissistic and self destructive behavior which will plummet the subculture into an Alighierian pit by it's very nature. Yeah, you'll probably see some trannies in 10-20 years but I think it's going to be remembered in the same way that emo shit from the Late 2000s was remembered, albeit having caused far more damage than emos ever would've dreamed of. The emos were just super obnoxious and retarded, injecting hormones as a trend is doing physical permanent damage to your body.
 
I don't think it will end like some have said because there will always be weirdos in society. To be honest, I haven't really bumped into many trans people in real life compared to the internet. If you asked when the science establishment, the left, and social media will end this trans madness then really your guess is as good as mine. I feel like the science community will quietly admit that it was wrong to mutilate people's organs including children. When that is, is anyone's guess. I feel like at least in some countries in the west, left wing parties have also abandoned transgenderism like the U.K. As far as social media goes, its weird because I feel like with a lot of TIMs in tech jobs, the number of trans people on the internet is astroturfed compared to what their real numbers are. Still, I see so many young people be a part of this trend where they still obsessively talk about character's pronouns, and gender in fandoms. Who knows when we'll see more young people online not be a part of this cult.

I don't think it'll ever go away, only because the mere fetish of dressing up as a woman will permeate in deranged men's minds. Transgenderism might always exist but I can only hope that those who suffer gender dysphoria are given different means of care that isn't pipeline them to drugs and surgery. Desisting and therapy that is trained specifically in identifying why someone feels alien in their bodies.

Parents teaching their children to not picture themselves as the other gender, or at least leaving groundwork for them to explore without questioning their gender. Bring back the tomboys and fruits. Typically the gays are being forced to transition as parents would rather have a trans-daughter or son than a gay daughter or son.

This is a future more horrific than the continuance of tranny ideology IRL. If people can modify themselves to look like animals but have primarily-human genetics, then there'll be furry supremacists who will try to outbreed the human race and replace it. At least trannies are sterile, or in this magic future scenario they can actually become biologically female.
 
Get Jarvis to pull up some numbers on gender delusion hormone prescriptions and genital mutilation surgeries over time. Yeah, it's not going to zero, but maybe it will collapse back to ~2010 levels, and along with a loss of institutional and political capital, that's what we would consider the "end".

"Gender affirming care" for children is the one to watch because that's where the fad will die the hardest and regulators are likely to crack down first.

Hormone-only trannies will persist longer because there are legitimate medical reasons to get them prescribed (that they and a sympathetic doctor could lie about), and other use cases like bodybuilding. The black market will always be there. Genital mutilation is a disaster that will fall out of fashion as it shreds healthy tissue and dating prospects. Pooners could dominate the community in the long run, as they don't have the same motivations, and masectomies have a legitimate purpose of preventing breast cancer.

The furry genetic stuff mentioned above is very uncertain. We could all be dead before it becomes a problem. Gene therapies on adults have limited value compared to embryo editing, and the scientific community has already come down like a ton of bricks on the practice following He Jiankui's proofs of concept.
 
I assume there'll be a correction from the overcorrection at the moment with progressive who act as if you can actually change sex. Enough harm will be done and people will be open about it.

It's a social contagion, a trend, and it will settle down eventually once the furor dies off and people realize how weird and fucked up it is. Depending on the near future and how procedures and casual hormone/testosterone injections will be accepted it may or may not be 99% snuffed out with the occasional retard still flying over to the sex-tourism capitols to get their dick chopped off.
 
The "real" troons I've known already started writing it off as being genderfluid or other such transitional sexualities. They'll eventually tap out of it entirely but are trying to get ahead of the big downfall by entering this state of "arguable" rationale. Then again, already going on years you see faggot femboys do HRT to get a bit of tits or true and honest troons call themselves "boymoders" by not putting in any effort. They're doing all this simply because it's passive progress. "2 years on HRT" is easier than "2 years since I started volunteering, fostering cats and doing sports".

It isn't a matter of what's "worse", but rather what sticks. Then you'll see others test how far it can be pushed; and you will despair.

For those believing that troonism won't go quietly: The media will simply begin pandering to the perceived interests of a younger demographic. Troons will still shoot innocent children every week - But it will simply receive less and less acknowledgement from major news outlets (who will instead report hyperbolically on the next politicized abomination they're ordered to); until the general population comes to regard it as being the same non-issue every other endlessly perpetuated social calamity has been. It's going to take literally decades to mitigate the horrifying levels of psychological warfare that have been waged upon America's youth. It's not just troonery, it's mental health culture as a whole. Because it's been going on even before the troon blowup. The troon blowup is in my opinion the final stage.

I think it goes back to no child left behind in the early 2000s turning schools into a somewhat hostile space overnight because their funding was tied to their grade scores. I vividly recall entire rants from teachers about how if we didn't get good grades we'd be stuck in dead end service jobs, we'd be prohibited from college altogether and we'd basically be dregs on society.

I personally think this took a huge toll on a lot of millenials wellbeing and a lot of them recognised that they had left these spaces with severe depression and a sense of existential dread that they would never live up to "someone's" expectations. This resulted in these individuals looking for answers. A lot of the time this would come in the form of online support groups and this is where you saw shit like headmates or the gangstalking communities form.

As a result in the early 2010s the "mental health" psychotherapy cults took their stranglehold. (I would argue troonery is one of these. Pair these factors with a sharp peak in porn consumption from this key demographic.)

By the mid 2010s the system of indoctrination was in place, schools needed an excuse to say their clients needed psychotherapy due to learning disabilities. (Its not our curriculum you're just fucked up somehow clearly) So they sent them to therapists and counselors, a lot of whomst were the exact millenials who had gone through the same systemic psychological warfare.

And now we're where we're at.
